Pewdiepie has really gone down in quality over the past year. To cite a recent example, his Undertale playthrough was uploaded completely out of order. He seems to have lost some of that original spark his earlier video's had. I still like him when he plays games AS GAMES, like he does in Undertale, but his channel has just gotten filled with 10 minute lulz fests. I miss his old style.

Well, you people need to get used to this change. You should really think about how he feels and how it must be like trying to find a game worth playing, recording it, cutting it, and editing it. It takes time and effort to make one decent video. Have you ever considered thinking about him and what it must be like in his shoes? Personally, I think he's doing just fine. He could do a little better with his comedy and he does need to trim that beard of his a little, but I'm not complaining about it or hoping he will change back to the way he was when his videos needed a lot of work done. He's clearly tired of all those comments saying they want the old PewDiePie back and I'm tired too. So would you stop bitching about him?

Oh, I do get it. And I didn't really think I was bitching. It's just that I prefer to go through a game along with the commentator instead of just getting the highlights. The amount of editing and work he has been able to do for all his videos is amazing. It must be hard to appeal to the vast audience he has. I simply prefer his earlier videos since they felt more personal to me. Even the little bits of awkwardness and his worries of not being funny enough. It had this sense of genuine personality to it. His current video's have moved away to what drew me to his channel.
He doesn't have to go back to it. In fact, the times where he plays story based games has his personality shine. I loved all of his "The Walking Dead" play through, and his Undertale Commentary is quite good. I just hope he continues to do full game commentary and not just the random highlights of games.
