"won't you tell me, the reason I'm still alive? It's just so strange that I managed to survive."I don't usually post concept art. Both sketches done with pencil crayon and a sakura pen.

ThatΒ΄s a nice / great / lovely, etc, etc... art... maybe you know it very well from the former comments. But I left two questions... not about the quality of the work, but about the techniques:
1 - The shadowing is so soft and the clear - to dark transition is very smooth... did you do this with the crayon? IΒ΄ve tryied before - very before I enter DA - and I failed completely... I imagine that you must have a very tight hand control in order to get the shadow effects
2 - Forgive my miserable ignorance but... what is a sakura pen?

hahaha its totally ok!
1.) 'pencil crayon' is the cdn term for 'coloured pencils' so they're not actually crayons. You usually achieve this by layering the colouds. First colour the image as intended, and then use a lighter [even white] pencil crayon over top to blur it in. Then add a third layer of the original intende colour. This will also help brighten your colours as well as keep them very very smooth!
2.) I'm not actually completely certain what a Sakura pen is.... Its just a think japanese inking pen. What makes it better or worse then any other inking pen? Nothing, really... I just prefer that brand.

Cute as heck, I love your style. You shoudl do a finished product of this charcter. She reminds me a bit of the one girl from Engineered, withthe curly ponytail, but different. Younger looking, and not as naive looking for some reason ^_^ The shading on the legs of the right drawing is AWESOME, nie job for just concept art
