So as background info about a year and a half ago, my sister know someone that wanted her and I to make a book that starred his three year old son in a book for his birthday. He provided us with the general plot which was him and his wife were kidnapped by a dragon and his son and his dog finds caps and saves the day, and my sister wrote it from there. She also is the one that drew most of the characters. Meanwhile, I did all the colouring work of the characters digitally (minus the dragon, for it was done in marker) and the background in acrylic paints. Instead of having a different painting for each backgrounds, I did a few stock background and used them for the frames, like a Disney animated film would be done... except for a book. I also did the drawing for the dog.

Unfortunately due to our computer crashing, the job had to be delayed a few days while we rushed to get it fixed. However it was a lot more detailed than he was expecting lol (he thought it was coloured like Clifford type style, while I coloured to the best of my abilities at the time for the backgrounds (and pretty much for the characters as well, but I left it less detailed for a more cartoony look. I am happy to say that he was very happy with the job, so yay! (By the way this is getting copy pasted for all the background descriptions because really it's the same explanation anyway)

So this is used when they were in the park, which was where the story started. Oe thing that I really don't like about this one, is at the very end, I messed it up on the stone path. I tried to make it like a stone path, but I stupidly used black paint for that. Sigh oh well...
