Of course! Disney published a book a while ago called 'the lion king: 6 new adventures'

One of them was called 'the tale of two brothers' about how taka became scar. Most artists like to have their own theories about it, but kept the name taka, which means 'rubbish' In swahili.

wow, i thought it was just fan fiction... you have shown me the light!
i was always wondering because one of my characters is named taka but taka in japanese is hawk. (which is where he acquired his name) even though he is a wolf (actually he is the time spirit, but he looks like one.)
