I really like this picture even though you said you rushed it (': I find it hard to work with charcoal but you seem to be pretty natural with it.

Actually I like this It makes me think of a woman [left] is looking in a mirror and at first everything is normal, then suddenly she starts seeing things about herself that makes her feel ugly [right] tha center being a transition between tha two. It's tha difference in smile/frown that makes that story pop out to me.

Thank you~ The reason I dislike it now is mainly cause I see several inaccuracies pertaining to anatomy and that it wasn't exactly what I had tried to execute. In a way you can say it has to deal with the aging process. It can also deal with insecurities, the perception of beauty, and a whole boat load of things lol. I agree that the left portrait is best since it looks the most realistic (In my opinion at least o.o") and the left one has really nice hair !

Lol, the only thing I truly dislike about charcoal is all the smears I get on my cloths/ body. If anything, I hate the feel of oil pastel on paper (Not sure if it's just my lack of experience in this medium or not.) .

How can you hate this? Be proud of it! Conceptually I think you're steering towards something to do with the aging proces? If so it's well exequted.
But I have to say I like the right portrait the best, but the hair on the left portrait is amazing.
I have a really hard time working with charcoal (I hate the feel on paper) so you have my respect at least.
