"How are you doing this morning love?" Zero whispered into Kaname's neck.

"Just a little sore, that's all." He mumbled groggily, and pulled the covers over his head. Zero snickered and climbed out of bed. "Where are you going?" Kaname mumbled from under the sheets.

"I'm just going to take a shower, when you're ready to get up, there's clothes lying on the edge of the bed that you can wear." Zero told him, as he walked off towards the bathroom. "Oh, and I need you to take off your old bandages, so I can put on some clean ones, ok?" He said over his shoulder, as he closed the door. Kaname, still half asleep, stumbled out of bed, grabbed the jeans laid out for him and sleepily began to put them on. When he was done with that, he started removing his bandages.

"Zero, can you help me with this, I can't get these damn bandages off!" Kaname whined. He heard Zero chuckle, before he stepped out of the bathroom.

"Sit down on the bed, and I'll help you." Zero said. Kaname did as he was asked, and Zero knelt before him and gently began to peel off the bandages. Kaname winced, as the last of the bandages was pulled from his injured torso. Zero then began to replace the old bandages, with new ones. Once that task was finished, he gingerly pulled the T-shirt over Kuran's head. Kaname blushed, "I could've put the shirt on by myself you know," he muttered under his breath.

Zero kissed the top of his head, "I know, but I like taking care of you," he confessed. Zero grabbed Kaname's hand, and dragged him towards the door. "Come on, I have a surprise for you. Are you up for it?" he asked, as he pulled out a blindfold.

"Of course I am," Kaname replied, as Zero placed the cloth over his eyes. "Zero, I don't like this, I can't see a single thing."

"That's the point, silly" Zero whispered in his ear, as he grabbed Kaname's hands, and wrapped them around his waist. "You'll just have to stick close."

"We're here, you can take the blindfold off now." Zero said. Kaname pulled the blindfold off, and looked at his surroundings.

"Wow, its…. beautiful." He breathed. "Where are we exactly?" Kaname asked, as he took in the view. They were standing in the middle of an old, building. The worn out brick walls were just a bit taller than Kaname was, and they were draped in curtains of luscious green vines. There was a small handmade bench, propped up against the lowest wall, and behind it, a small creek flowed. The place seemed to emit a peaceful, welcoming vibe that allowed visitors to get lost in the beauty of it all.

"We're still on campus, believe it or not. This ruin here used to be a large building a long time ago. But over time it was forgotten, and now all that's left of it are these four walls. I found it one day while roaming the campus, I cut the grass surrounding the place, and built that bench over there. And now, every time I feel down or just want to be alone, I come down here. It's my sanctuary, a place to get away from it all. I can sit here for hours, and just stare up at the sky." Zero confessed, as his velvet eyes scanned the surrounding area. At that moment, he seemed so open and vulnerable. Kaname felt a pang of sorrow grip his heart, he knew everything that Zero had gone through, he could only imaging how many times he had come down here to cry alone. Kaname stepped closer to Zero, and wrapped his arms tightly around him.

"Zero why did you bring me here?" Kaname inquired.

"Well, if you ever need a place to go to, to get away from it all, I figured that this place is better than at the bottom of a sink hole. And as long as you're here, I'll know where to find you." Zero blushed.

"Thank you." Kaname whispered as he walked over to the bench, and sat down.

"For what?" Zero asked, as he plopped down beside him.

"For caring." Kaname replied, as he leaned in to kiss Zero.

"Sarah sama, what do you plan on doing about this minor…setback? Isn't this going to interfere with our plans?" Ichio asked.

"No, no, let them have their fun…for now at least." Sarah grinned.
