Personality:
Acel is a fairly awkward, caring, and aloof young male. He tries to be eager and polite but has a hard time doing so due to his awkward tendencies. Because of this, he has a hard time making connections with others and will seemingly come off as distant and apathetic. This really isn't the case, and when he does manage to become close with others, he's fairly loyal. This was before his wish, however.

After making his wish with Espurr, Acel has become even more distant and even more aloof and even a bit... cruel. This is due to his new found self and realization of the importance of his own happiness. Because of his loss, he realized that he should do things for himself and not others. This is not to say that he doesn't want relationships of any kind --because he does. In truth, he's afraid of losing those important to him and puts up his cold front, only letting his true self show in desperate times.

History:
Acel was conceived as the eldest son in a noble family of four. He had a younger twin sister, Aine, with whom he was extremely close with. The two got along and rarely ever fought, playing in various 'secret' places of their house and causing mischief. Their absolute favourite place to play together was on the flat roof that extended from their shared bedroom window. Their parents were unaware of this, however, and were absolutely appalled when Acel and his sister, Aine, both the age of 7, fell off of the roof. The two earned a terrible head injury for their mischievous ways. Acel was lucky, however. After his head injury, he was diagnosed with Acquired Growth Hormone Deficiency. Aine, on the other hand had received such terrible head trauma that she was forced into a coma.

Acel lived like this for many years of his life, blaming himself for his sister's refusal to awaken. He believed that his uncomfortable way of living with the hormone deficiency was his punishment for being 'the cause' of his dear sister's injury. This brought him great depression, and at the age of 17, he attempted to commit suicide by jumping off of the school roof, realizing that there was no hope of her awakening.

But when he jumped... He blacked out.

His life was saved by a Rogue Magi. The Rogue Magi left the unconscious boy on the ground and when he awoke, he met Espurr. Believing himself to be dead or in a dream, he eagerly accepted Espurr's contract when it was presented to him, hoping that in this world of delusions, he could see his sister once more so he no longer had to suffer. It was only a dream, right?

Wrong. This proved to have the opposite effect, however, because... he really wasn't dreaming. He was very much awake.

If only he wasn't, though.

When he returned home after a long day of 'day-dreaming', he wasn't allowed to enter. No one knew who he was and the last thing he saw before he was escorted off of the property was... The worried, and very much alive face, of his twin sister, Aine. The same face he'd been longing to see awake for 10 years...

And those emerald eyes of her's that no longer recognized him.

Acel didn't exactly... regret his wish, however. He was glad to know that his sister was alive and well. Still.... If only he didn't have to sacrifice so much for Aine.

If only. He would have made a wish for himself if he knew he was going to lose her in the end...
