Lol, this took bloody long enough.I posted up the 'teaser' for this ages ago... [link] can you spot any differences? I can. Green lady got one hell of a makeover. o.O
Um, it's supposed to be, liek, the four seasons. Cliche, but I DUNT CARE!
I named them, because I name everything. Fiona, Johnny, Angie and Lenny (*madmen thought he was based on Lenny Kravitz =] )

But I do find painting like this the most enjoyable thing, art wise. My Mum wants me to paint her something along these lines for her birthday, so there'll be at least one more coming soon to my gallery! :B

I wouldn't say "anime style" has anything to do with doing trades or not. I wouldn't say my style is anime... do you think it is? o.O
As for trades I guess there's a number of options to go with, fan art, characters etc, What would you like a go at?

Ok I guess not anime but definately a toonesk style. From what I have seen ( and that is very little) a lot of trades are some style of animation. Certainly not realist in most cases. The only toonesk style I have any practice in is disney..sorry if that isn't your cup of tea. I could probably imitate any toon character though if you told me what you wanted them to do (disney or otherwise). It would jsut take some time. eh?

Well look at me crawling out of the woodwork
Bottom left actually has the recognisable facial structure for a black woman (am I allowed to even say that?) which is nice and the dude on the bottom right reminds me more of Spike from Cowboy Bebop than anything else.
As to the bridge of the nose thing, I find it helps immensely to just shade very subtly between the eyes to show that it recedes a little. Apologies for incoherence, it's still too early for me

hehe thanks ykno I was trying to make her look 'black' by the way her face looks and not just the tone of her skin- I tried to use a lot of white in there. hehe Spike, cool. Thats a cool thing to be reminded of!
