I went to see Greenday last Thursday in Cardiff. Yay.
Haven't done a 'traditional' portrait of someone in ages....so Billie Joe seemed a good candidate, being that he is small and cute as a bug. As a bug I tells thee!!
Um...I've been staring at this so long I'm not really sure if it looks like him or not. Still pretty happy with it whatever the verdict. Watercolour and pencils.
And how come that whenever I do something halfway good I always do it on the shittiest scrap of papaer I can find? You probably can't see it now, but there was my cat's very faded paw-print on this. I guess it's a lesson I must learn.

hey have a great time at GD! When I went to see them in Cardiff I was in an uber amount of awe. If you do it right, you shouldn't be able to talk for a couple of days after because you screamed/shouted/sang so much at the gig...
