Today has been awful... My pet bunny Bella died sometime this morning. I went outside to feed her since she stayed out overnight but she didn't come when i called her name. I found her lying under the gazebo in the yard...and when i saw her i knew she was gone. I've been crying all day. I can't bear to even look in the backyard because it kills me to know she won't ever come running around the corner again wanting to get petted and treats.Coloring this picture is the only thing that's kept me sane today. It's a new cover for my comic since the old one was dated looking. But staying busy only works for so long. Soon i'll have to figure out what to do with her body and i'm dreading going back out there to bury her. It'll only make things more real and permanent.
Sorry about the mini rant i just got alot on my chest right now. Think i might even write a journal or something to get it all out. Just sitting down and typing out what i feel made the tears stop for a little bit...

amazing work as usual! and it helps to have some one else put your bunny in a bag I was a mess when my little Brownie died but you'll have fond memories to look back on one day and you won't feel so sad.

Thanks for understanding. I had a few friends put her in a bag and bury her. I just couldn't bring myself to do it. We had some good times together so knowing that one day i can look back on her life without feeling sad is reassuring.

Thanks. I never had a pet die on me before except for goldfish so its rather shocking when it happens to a bigger animal. I always knew it was going to happen but never this soon...

Thank you. She was the only bunny i had. Her body didn't have any abnormal marks or anything like that and she was in her usual sleeping pose when i found her. My guess is that she died in her sleep or got scared of something last night and had a heart attack. Since they are so fragile heart attacks are common.

Yeah i know she's in a better place. I know she had a good life with me and i gave her everything i could. Knowing that gives me some comfort.
