I sit here and watch over you as you sleep at night

I stand tall and proud by your bed side,

though I cannot speak the word you speak

I have my on way of telling you what I need through out the day

I keep the house protected while you are away

I never lead you wrong or astray

though many fear me for my breed

I'm really not that mean

things are not always as they seem.

I do not ask for much, maybe a praise here or there

for I am as you are.

We all need love and care.

They call me as you see it, pittbull is what I am.

I'm not that vicious animal that people claim I am

for do not fear me when you see me, it's not me that is mean,

it's people around me that turn your world against me.
