Remember the photo of the blue betta I posted? Well, as I pointed out shortly after I posted it, he died, and so I decided to wait a few weeks before I got my new betta. Then after some close watching and monitoring the water conditions, I decided to go out to the pet store and buy my second betta, who I also called Victor. So yes, meet Victor mk 2

I'll post a photo of him soon, but for now, here's a mixed media picture of him. I used Stabilo Trio 2 in 1 pens and just ordinary coloured pencils for this. (I couldn't get the correct tones for his body with the pens, so I had to use coloured pencils for that). It's not the best picture, but I think it came out well considering the fact that I never really draw aquatic life. I plan to frame this on my wall too In fact, I'd have done it sooner, if I had bought the right size photo frame. Darn me -_-;

Btw, to those of you who are expecting trades from me, please accept my apologies for taking such a long time doing them. I haven't been feeling that well over the past few weeks, with last week being a bad one for me all courtesy of a dreaded cold, plus the fact I haven't been feeling in the mood to draw lately, but don't worry, I haven't forgotten about them, and I promise I'll get them done ASAP. Thank you all for being so patient
