Description Chains of Sin
On ill board with pastel and pencil.

A court is in session, a verdict is in
no appeal on the docket today
just my own sin
the walls are cold and pale
the cage made of steal
screams fill the room
alone i drop and kneel

(Creed - My Own Prison)

That song inspired this work... This work is me... and I am it... The chains represent my struggle with my own sins and the past that has me twisted and rapped in the place that I am now calling home...
The struggle of a man that has to carry that burden... For we are all wrapped in our own sins. And they weigh you down at times when you have to remember that they are there and recognize that they will never be losed untill you are ready to forgive yourself for the sins that you have layed on others...
I am not a religious man and I don't try to be... But I love God and he loves me and we have a relationship and we talk... Yet the God I know is not the God that some want to believe in... God forgives... But he does not forget ! And that is the crux of all your sins... You have to pay for them sooner or later... And when you do then they will be taken from you and the weight removed. Untill then you learn to carry your own chains of sin. Are they heavy ? Do they hurt ? Do they cut into your soul and make you cringe when you think of them ?? For me ??.. Yes...

I want to know if the are "symbolic" aspects in your work, like the purple tones or the other "chain" that's in your arms. Good job, hard life.
Sigue luchando que mas temprano que tarde encontraras la salida. Y pues ya sabes, que viva Mexico y esperemos tenerte pronto de vuelta en este bello pais.
