Description
Ezekiel the seer is the Magister of the Mordheim warband called the Truth Seekers. He was born the son of a wealthy merchant in Marienburg and would be put through the best education available. He began his quest when he touched the legendary chaos artifact called "the mask of the seer" and received a vision from Tzeetch to seek an artifact called "The Eye of Eternities" lost in Mordheim. The artifact would grant unimaginable knowledge to the user, and Ezekiel believed it would earn him favor with Tzeentch. He created his warband from a collection of other rebellious students, mercenaries, and even a few tzaangors to serve as bodyguards. His wealth allowed him to use only the finest weapons and armor for his warband, making them among the better-equipped cultist bands in the city. They also wear silver-plated masks that mimic those of their leader. They searched constantly for scraps of Arcane knowledge, with Ezekiel's mask and prophetic visions leading the way. During this campaign, he lost numerous members of his band - something he did not care about. For him, all that mattered was that he claimed two things: the favor of his god, and the truths behind the universe. By the time he found the Eye of Eternities, he was the sole survivor of his warband - even using a spell to slay his second-in command and ensure the power was all his. When he finally put the eye into a slot on his mask, he was confronted by the truth: That to Tzeentch, he was nothing more than a disposable pawn in an endless game. As visions of the future overtook Ezekiel, he transformed into a chaos spawn - his mask fusing to his face, his body contorting, and his sanity shattering entirely. Now, he has been taken by the Preacher's apostles to be used to further the gods' goals.
