He kind of reminds me of Jean-Claude.

Is there a story behind this character??

There wasn't one when I first painted it, but it inspired a short-lived story later on.

He has a melancholy kind of Louis look, doesn't he?

Did you ever read the nightrunner series from Lynn Flewelling???? Because he looks exactly like Seregil to me. You should check the books out. Brilliant work.

No, I've never read them. I'll look into it. Thanks!

I used your work here:[link] Hope that was okay??!!

That link didn't work.
And while I'm flattered that you appreciate my art and wanted to use it as inspiration for your own, my artwork is not stock. Feel free to use the stock sources that I used to create my finished work, where credit and links were given, but my own finished work should not be used that way. Thank you.

Hi,
Thank you for your reply back! I did take the image down as I realized that your work was not stock. I apologize! You do have awesome work and I'll check out the stock sources you mentioned!

With the owl there and the character's pose, it totally reminded me of the Goblin King. Nice work; I can't stop looking through your gallery!

I probably do, but it's not for me to redistribute stock after the original artist has removed it. The throne in this pic is heavily modified in any case.

Thanks!!!
I love The Tudors, but I've loved JRM even longer. Ever since I saw Gormenghast. Anyway, I hadn't even seen the show yet when I first used this picture, though obviously it's a promotional still from that.
Anyway, thanks again!

Very well done, I am in awe...

LOL! I have a thing for hair too. It's usually one of the first things I notice about a person.

XD Sometimes it's so hard for me not to reach out to some guy's hair and start playing with it.

It's a really good book...and the main character is gay. XD That's usually the turn-on for most readers.

It's a really good read, but it's like...the middle of the series. If you start reading the Valdemar series(Which is uberly long), I'd start with Queen's Own.
