An airbrushing/photomanipulation of a completely sexy stock photo by ~binarystockBelieve it or not the background was the biggest bitch on this one. I didn't want it to look like he was floating there, but I didn't want it to be distracting either. So... Yeah. This is like the fifth attempt at the background on this one and I decided it was good enough.
I really like the way he came out, though. Very smooth. That's the benefit of a really high-quality stock image.

Yes, inventing a background is tricky...I think it works great on the left. I would add just a very subtle shadow around his left shoe to anchor it so it doesn't float too much. But even so, it still works, I think you'll get it with just a slight bit more fiddling around with the blueish floor shadows.

This one was a while ago.. I've done a few more backdrops since then. This one makes me cringe. But it's so long ago I don't think I'd bother trying to fix it at this point.
