Stick and Stones, Words and Bones
" Some may say illustration is about eye candy, aesthetically pretty thing. However I want to approach “illustration” as a literal definition—the act/state of clarifying or explaining—to utilise it in a way that disturbs and provokes deeper thought.

The aspiration for this project stemmed from my not so fluent articulacy that I find it challenging at times to portray myself through words alone and sought comfort in other means to depict myself.

In a world where communication is key, mostly spoken, I thought to convey the use and abuse of spoken words through combination of the two differing communication mediums; verbal and visual.

I desire to “illustrate” the connectivity that binds people in form of verbal interaction. "
