It's the weekend and god have I missed it. This week has been crazy, and revision pressure is coming down hard on everyone. I'm sneaking a couple hours on dA to remind you all I'm still alive!

Jumping on the bandwagon and snagging my own Ballovali boy. I really like this breed by *Ehetere , it's very versatile and just plain pretty.

And hey, ain't he gorgeous? Chestnut sabinos is still my favourite colour. And hnng that tail. And mane.

Often when out on hacks he'll passage rather than trot, and he likes to take the opportunity to Spanish walk wherever he can. Over fences he's careful and often needs extra encouragement to make the time, because speed is not his forte. Despite his small stature, he rides like a much bigger horse, and naturally brings himself up and into the bridle with ease. He's mannerly, respectful and kind, as open as a book, and a fast learner. You get the sense that everything this boy does is carefully planned, the risks and rewards evaluated, the operation conducted to the letter.
