Yes it is another Avian character, this time it is a character to fill an empty space that needed filling.This is Vreyin's Mother
And Shrike's Mate
She is very vain, and is into everything that is trendy.
She woo'd Shrike into being her mate because she found him to be a good compliment to her beauty, not to say she didn't fall in love with him, cause I doubt anyone couldn't XD
Eventually she had a child with him, thinking it would be easy, but it was completely not what she had bargained for.
The child was beautiful like the parents, but she was also needy, and that took away from Orielle's social time.
Not too long into Vrey's life, Orielle's death ceremony had come up, and Orielle refused, thus breaking Avian law (not the first time, but this is a biggie)
She left everything fled the Avian cities, and vanished.
No one really knows where she went.
The most common theory is that she went to the Human cities, and was discovered to be an Avian and killed on the spot to have her parts sold.
Others are that the royal guard was sent out secretly to dispatch her, and they succeeded.
Very few believe that she is still alive, for one that Vain would not be able to cower in the shadows for long.
Yes I know tl:dr
as always try to guess what her colours are based on (this should be easy)

Oh wow, I love the coloration! XDD The darker gold against the bright gold (especially on her face and tail) is really beautiful! I can see why she would be so vain. >_>

Pure speculation from my part:
Avians somehow suck the life/magic out of trees (by being born? Simply by living? By using magic?).
A death ceremony makes sure that this energy is given back.
Also, I wonder how old Avians can get naturally. Maybe they are even immortal. If that's the case then such a ceremony would be needed to prevent overpopulation.

Her name is a take on the word Oriole, which has it's base in Latin, aureolus which means golden in latin, is why I chose the name XD

I know that feeling.
I have 2 stories (well, one is more a concept than a story) which I would like to see as a game.
But that is rather unlikely to happen.
I thought about commissioning the intro sequence of the story as comic, but I haven't found the right artist yet.
Hm, I wonder if the Xiro Myth would fit into a Neverwinter Nights 2 module.....

I have several stories undergoing, some part of the XM world, and some completely unrelated.
As for never winter nights 2, I dunno if XM would fit into it, since I have never played it. All I know is that it is based on D&D
and if that is all there is to it, then XM likely can fit well, for I have made D&D sheets for most of the characters so far. XD
And yes XM as a game is my final dream as well.

The only real limitation that I see is that there is no flying in NWN2.
But I also don't know enough about the world and about making NWN2 Modules to judge that effectively.
To make a really long module you would likely need years and some serious manpower as your world doesn't really resemble the standard D&D one, so you have to model, texture, etc.
But maybe it is possible, with some support, to make a small part of the story into a module.
