I have studied history for a while (lol I was part of the History Club back in Middle school.)
I have put countless hours into reading and studying the glory of History.
So trust me, I know what I'm talking about.
You see? THIS is why I NEVER trust anything from the INTERNET.
Because you end up with false information, and when you "attempt"
to confront someone with it, you loose an argument badly, and look stupid.
Kid, a word of advice? Read books......Don't trust anything from the Web.

You don't seems to be aware that books can contain as much false information as the internet. There is outdated data, there are biased authors, and even some outright hoaxes. If I decide to write an history book full of lies, nobody's going to stop me. The key is: verify sources, and double-check information.

no i respect our troops. i also know that not everyone who is in the armed forces is a good person. also the person who led that group of soldiers to massacre that village was found guilty and convicted and theres plenty of documentation on it. you can respect a group of people while understanding that realistically, not all of them are good and not all of them are bad. some of them do unspeakable things. being american doesnt change the fact that they are human. every country has some sort of bad history and war crimes, but the armed forces are ultimately groups of people just trying to survive and protect their homes.Β
