ROLL OUT !!!!I usually don't like drawing Tranformers, I'm OK with drawing robots if I can just throw a bunch of random parts together.
But I just had to take a stab at Optimus Prime.
This has been boiling for years.
I finally didn't worry about drawing the classic design with all of those flat panels and just tossed together a bunch of random parts while sticking to somewhere close to Prime's truck design.
Looks kinda like the movie design.

Never watched Transformers as a kid, but hearing Optimus Prime's voice in the movie made me wish I had. Great pic.

Quite the opposite. I've had this one in my system for a while, so it was a relief to finally draw a decent Transformer.
It took about an hour and a half.

I think I may have just had the movie design in the back of my head.
I did draw a few the opening weekend at brendan theaters.
It was a relief not having to stick to the original designs.

With a 90%-95% probability (Or at least with a slightly higher ratio over OP's original design), and with some subtle subconscious hints in the back of your mind, I'd say it is...
In either case, it looks like Optimus, it is Optimus, and it's badass...

Kind of a mixture of the movie Prime and the Old school Prime. This is how the movie should have looked. Looks great!
