Description
Mixing the comics and the movie.The day after I drew this I spotted a cover to a (then) upcoming issue of the Avengers featuring a rather full line-up of characters. It was the first time I had seen the "Marvel Now" design for Black Widow and even though it's a pretty simple mix of comic and movie designs I was still a little surprised at how close it was to what I had come up with here.

This is an amazing illustration, I love her expression and the texture in the background, behind her. I was wondering if I could ask your permission to have this printed on a t-shirt for my little sister's 8th birthday (as a gift, not for commercial purposes) who is obsessed with Black Widow. Really like the Explosive BG in the Widow symbol. Makes her more dynamic. It's like the spy movies with explosions in the background haha. Nice one.

Ha! I hadn't thought of it like that but you're right. If she were just some normal spy I probably would have put a rifle scope behind her.
