I'm really not trying to blind you, honest! I just really like the bright sunlight...Okay, I've really gotta figure out how to scan lineart in less jagged but otherwise I'm quite happy with this...the character is my own, Niklas Synn, who harbors two souls in his body, which is driving him crazy, but yeah, scanned lineart colored in Photoshop, let me know what you think...thanks.Related content

First thought, definetly... Two face, from the animated batman series, okay, then you mix him with trent reznoR then cross breed that with some kind of vampire guy, so then you come out with this sexy vampire dude, who is addmittedly psycho. But you need MORE psycho, because two face had a good/nice persona and you said this guy has a gothy-emo-slit-your-wrists-just-to-see-t hem-bleed kind of personality and a fuck-shit-up-with-a-crowbar kind of personality. SO you cross breed him with johnny the homicidal maniac, then put him in a tomb for eight and a half years. On the third day of the third month on the third hour... you open the tomb and this dude pops out. I absolutely LOVE the outfit, it's glam rock, it's tuff, it's black -- it rocks. And man, your backgrounds always offer such more to look at than the main focus, I can never make a decent background. finally, I don't even know what line art is, but I love the way it looks. Dont try to fix it or nothin' me Likes! you ROCK!

Woww.. he has REALLY long legs! *glomps the tall guy with the twin souls that are driving him crazy* The lighting makes his skin have a really strange color, which definitely adds to the "I'm so evil (half-evil) whatever (go take a flying leap) no, you (shut up, jerk)" internal dialogue there...

what can i say, only that i'm glad i added you to my watched users list, cos you're delivering the goods man. one thing which really draws me to your pieces over others is the gritty darkness of your work and i actually think the bold lines give it more personality.

I love the backlit effect. 
Do you ink your sketches digitally or scan inked lineart? My method for softer lineart is scanning it after I've inked it by hand and then fiddling with layers and channels in PhotoShop until it's smooth. 'Fiddling' is such a technical term... ha ha.
But back to the picture. I definitely love his pose and the overall feeling but the rough lines do kind of detract from it. Not enough to make me stop staring.

love it love the colours love the style but am usure about the eyes and the mouth but i like that usidedown cross on his cheek the costiume is fucking awesome i like it alot but the eyes and the mouth are the flaws :S am thinking sumone with two souls and is tormented by them wud be alot less open with his expression but then again its your character so do what you like

Hey man, thanks! And yes he's tormented, but he has two sides to his personality, one is very dark, quite and down right depressing, but the ther side is a very hyper, evil thing that will tear through anything/anyone in his way and then laugh about it later...eh, I've got some strange ideas...but thanks so much again, glad you like the cross, that's my fav part, oh and he was based loosely on Trent Reznor which maybe why he reminds you of some sorta rock star (and I just like drawing coats and jackets with square shoulders.)

Whoa...what reminds you of Wolfwood? Admittly I've been watching Trigun to much while I was working on this guy but wow...I didn't think the priest in black was a obvisious insperation.
