Well, that'sΒ quite shiny hair. What shampoo she use? lol
Dude, you're on your final week and you're still drawing? Are get enough sleep? XD
Quick step to create grayscale : Open a new canvas in photoshop ---> Change mode to grayscale ---> Copy the picture to that canvas Β

I guess for greyscale, just use shades/tonal values without colours/hues ~
just like pencil drawing ? xD
π: 0 β©: 1
Kh3mm4 In reply to Potato-Yi [2018-07-15 08:34:53 +0000 UTC]
i did that before hand, but when i tone them... the grey overlapped . and sometimes.. creating a rather messy grey aftermath XD
mind that i didn't lift my finger when greyscaling, it's still one stroke.. all of them~ XD
using 8bit layer to make it easier but well.. as i don't understand the problems above.. i spend quite a lot of time thinking and... reaching nothing! XD
oh i do wish it is like pencil drawing.. with undo buttons ~ but alas, traditional is easier even without undo buttons in case of gray scales XD

Potato-Yi In reply to Kh3mm4 [2018-07-15 14:39:18 +0000 UTC]
maybe try starting by using dark tonal value 70-80% for dark areas,
then lighter shadows, 50-60%
normal values 20-40%
and 0-10% for highlights
try blending in the light and shadows,
and then adjust accordingly depending on light source ~

it's worth to try, thanks for the advice and suggestion man! ^^
