Question:
Do you use any blending tools, or is it just your pencil tip?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Keriberrygirl In reply to KingRoach [2005-04-29 16:16:44 +0000 UTC]

Just my pencil tip. I didn't know this until i first started going to college, that using the blending tool is good for sketching and stuff like that, but you REALLY shouldnt use it on really important things. Even though it makes shading and blending fast and easy, it doesn't give really good depth and feeling to the pencilwork. ya know? And also, it promotes unwanted oil to be smeared around along with the lead - so that's not very good for the paper. I wish i could have learned that YEARS ago! LOL!

Yeah. I don't use blending tools myself. Man, I don't even know what they look like, but some people asked me if I do. I didn't know that about oil and stuff. :\ It's good to know. Thanks.

What happened years ago?

Keriberrygirl In reply to KingRoach [2005-04-29 18:10:31 +0000 UTC]

No prob!

Nothing happened, really. It's just that i used the blending tools a lot, and i wish i hadnt, cause it made my drawings look really yucky.

You should always look at the bright side of things. There's always one.

By definition:
An optimistic is one who falls from the Eiffel towe, and in the middle of the way he says: "Look at me! I'm not dead yet!" LOL
