Final second year piece, looking at the flow of urban living and diversions.would be for a building mesh, advertisment, this is a smaller scale version. 1.4 metres by 2 metres. digital print on linen and hand embroidery

I actually really really like the idea of adding fabric poppies to the red coats. Something that gives an otherwise one dimension piece and extra dimension and interest. What makes it great for this piece is the relative simplicity - all too often to designers makes the background impossibly complex and add fabric-work and stitching on the top. Thus loosing all their hard work!
Just on a side note, lines of people wearing red. You should take a look at the tilted/fallen red phone boxes in Kingston-upon-Thames.
