I did a whole lot of sketches of real Pharaoh attire and jewelry this last summer. I wanted to put Atem in what a REAL pharaoh would have worn. Don't ask. I couldn't get the attire exact, especially because their jewelry was SO intricate, but this is the general idea. Please ignore the background.I started this in June. See how long its taking me to get things done?! It's sick.

Great job ... again the FOrmat quality could be better but its a good job.. on thing though .. you forgot the beard cover.. they always wore a beard covered in a gold cover that they kept up some how on their chin ^.^ great drawing though he looks great

I originally drew the beard thing... but it looked SO stupid that I took it out. I donno... a beardthing on Atem just didn't work for me. It's good to know that someone else out there knows this stuff!!!!

Oh yes! I so wanted to see him in proper historical Pharaoh wear! They usually only wore the beards for ceremonies anyway. (The female Pharaoh Hatshepsut was depicted wearing it sometimes). Though I'd like to have see him holding the crook & flail as well. Still thank you so much.

Wow. That's incredible. The shading on this is making me drool over my keyboard here. Or... That' just might be Atem though I doubt it. (-doesn't like Atem-)
