Hidden Talents

Who are you? What is your talent? Why are some people more successful than the others? Have you wondered why aren't you the lucky one? What price are you willing to pay?

For some people, they were born with a golden spoon in their mouth, and life is just easy for them. For others, life is just plain harsh and unfortunate. Why does life have to be so unfair? What if you were given an "opportunity" to be somebody more "fortunate" for one day? Would that make you happier? If that's not enough, how about a week? A month? A year? Or even a life time? Would you give up yourself to live in somebody else's life? Would that really be the ideal life for YOU?

Who are you if you couldn't be yourself any longer? What have you really got if you got no friends, no love, no self identity, nowhere to live, and nowhere to hide? One day you look into the mirror, you can't see yourself any more because the old you have been swallowed by your dishonesty. Instead, your reflection shows a heartless monster.

The true value in life is to discover your true character, not be someone else. You might not have a rich dad. You might not have graduated from a prestige institute. You might not have the best look or physique. Does that make you a nobody? Stop comparing and degrading yourself. You have great potential, and you can design your future if you decide to change. You aim is to find your passion, something you love doing so much even if no one pays you to do so. Don't try to live in somebody else's life plan because you will slowly lose yourself, lose your passion, and lose your life.

You can't never let yourself shine if you hide under somebody else's shadow. Instead, bring out your hidden talent and let it shine among the crowd. Be somebody you admire and that's possible only if you can find yourself. So, never lose sight of yourself while searching for your bright yet hidden talents.

Amazing .

Do you know the 1960 movie with alain delon ? It was the first film adaptation of the novel. I like both films

Haven't seen the 1960 version. The story is very good. I watched the movie several times and still found it enjoyable.

Yep, the kind of story you can't help to love, evil and insane, but smart character. The 1960 film is called "purple noon" ("plein soleil" in original-french version)

This is insane! How do you manage your graphite rendering to be so even and spot free? And how do you draw highlighted hair on top of the dark hair? Do you use eraser or simply leave white spaces before hand?
I hope you'll answer!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

kelch12 In reply to adamnitin [2012-05-19 01:23:56 +0000 UTC]

For highlight, I used kneaded eraser to erase extra graphite. Rendering takes some time a patience. Check out "5 Pencil Method" on Youtube. You will learn some useful tips.

Yeah, that prize from the contest is a huge motivation. Of course, that is a good movie alone. The drawing is a good learning experience with light and contrast.

Thanks!
