Description
This is for my friend Josh. I took my crow with a rope, screenprinted him, mounted him onto a panel, and gave him an acrylic makeover. (I personally think that acrylic paints are sent from hell, but that's just me)This is unusual process for me, as I find cutting and pasting and painting using gluey mediums way too messy. I prefer the precision of tiny brushes and needles.
8x10 inches. Mixed (screenprint, acrylic, source of one of my scratchboards)

This is very striking, I think it shows the playful side that crows have. Most people don't realize that crows are highly intelligent. You can see it in his gaze.

I REALLY don't like them. they're very bold. don't do what you say. they're the poorly trained mongrel of mediums.

I don't know if you realize how creepy these birds are. I opened my front door once to find 7-8 of them outside my door eating trash.
On your picture though, I think you did a wonderful job

Reminds me of the crow from the Rats of Nihm. the red and the black play together so well.
