i've heard of shiba inus but never akita inus. but i bet they'd be a pretty little breed! and as the drawing. it eyii so pretty! loving the paws

Akitas are actually very large they were used for hunting Bear in japan and they wiegh around 100 to 130 Pounds (45 to 59 Kilograms) They are vey beautiful dogs

oh yah i've heard of akitas lol, didnt know they had inu at the end.
but the akitas in america are much larger than japan bred i think.

Yep the ones bred in america are larger by about an avarage of 10 pounds (around 6 Kilograms) and they tend to be a bit stockyer as well.
as far as the Inu goes Inu means "Dog" in japan and all japanese breeds have the word Inu in their name. but most people drop the Inu because they just like to shorten names lol
