A piece of graphite work of a character from my story-in-progress "The Marvelous Adventure of Kleo Swerving"
This is Kleo's mother, Clara Swerving, who died of pneumonia when Kleo was very young. (Clara was 23)
Clara met Kleo's father while working at a hat shop, and believed that every hat said something about the wearer, and you could usually tell a lot about a person by the hat they wore.
I tried semi-realistic this time, and I'm rather happy with how it turned out :3
