Beyond Boulder Dome is a large-scale add-on mod for Fallout: New Vegas which takes place in Colorado. Deadpan is a companion who lives in the underground town of Boulder, which is mostly made up of pre-war survivors, and he really misses his cat, so I made some cat items for him to collect. I wanted to see how far I could inject contemporary culture into a retro-future alternate universe without destroying the suspension of disbelief too much.

In the original Fallout lore, cats were known to be extinct which saddened me, but suppose there was a vault that had cats, and that when the vault dwellers made habitat in the wasteland, cats lived on as pets

A friend of mine posted this on my wall, I comment that I never remember seeing this on any of the Fallout games. Now I see why. Had to do a image search to find the artist. I think its cute, and now I have to instal my New Vegas just to check out the mod. Though I have to be careful. I go mod crazy when it comes to fallout. Too many mods can crash the game. Great job!

Nah. The companion I created, Deadpan, loves cats, so I made this and some other items for the small collection in his room.

I love this. This is two of my favourite things combined. LOLcats and Fallout! Funny, sweet and perfectly made to blend in with the wear and tear of post-war collectibles. I want that poster damnit.
