Finally, I get this thing finished! The first picture for this year's Drawtober! I would've gotten this out sooner if it weren't for the fact that I've been so damn busy with helping out with my dad's wedding. Anyway, the prompt for this one was "spooky". And I'm going to be 100% honest with you guys, that in of itself is a little too vague. So, I just decided pull this drawing out of my ass. This is based off the Courbe version of "I Know I'm a Wolf" by Young Heretics (You can find the video link here: youtu.be/pMgBNUxJ-M8?si=g4c380… ). The way that Courbe created this cover made me think that there was more to the story than what Young Heretics had originally come up with. So, here's my own take on it:

The wolf tries to be friends with the rabbit like normal, and the rabbit decides to go along with it, albeit very cautiously. Eventually, the wolf's old pack finds the rabbit and tries to kill him, but the wolf jumps in to protect him. As the wolf is fighting his former packmates, he cries out that the rabbit would still be safe with him. When the rabbit realizes that the wolf was being genuine the entire time, he decided that enough was enough and began to fight alongside the wolf to drive away the pack. Eventually, but working together, the two of them were able to fend off the other wolves. The rabbit gains a scar over his eye and loses part of his ear but is overall okay. He then tells the wolf that he was tired of being prey and that he wanted to become a wolf as well. Not just because he wanted the wolf to keep living like his species (mainly with the wolf species diet) but also because he began to feel more alive while they were fighting. And so, the wolf and the rabbit started their own pack and possibly fall in love (I'm not quite sure about that part just yet lol), and overtime, the rabbit began to grow more wolf-like features, including fangs, ridged fur along his back, sharper claws and a taste for fresh meat.

So, that's my own alternative ending to this song. I really hope you guys like it! Happy Drawtober!
