Gift for

Lately, I've been in a huge mood on catching up Final Fantasy IX as well seeing my great pal Dagga's current little series of artwork focusing on Disney's princesses (because of Kingdom Hearts) last month for which all that led me to doing my next little project (after working on Juricha 's contest) as for making this a little extra-special gift for her since Final Fantasy IX is her favorite of the entire franchise after all. I would also like to say thanks on those who've voted most for Garnet in "who I should draw next" poll, on other hand, too. What can I say about Garnet Til Alexandros VII or even where to begin about? She is one of the game's most intriguing but loveliest characters who happens to have some summoning magic while destined to be queen of Alexandria and becomes Zidane's love interest after the beginning. I promise that I won't give out any more details for those who've never played this entry before (unless you've already played it before for which I can discuss about it in the comments) since I'm on Disc 4 of the game now. Anyway, going back into description on this piece: In response of seeing her current Disney princess art, I was toying with the idea of Garnet portraying as Rapunzel (from Tangled) because of the hair & the fact they're both princesses. Tangled is her favorite Disney film, which I have not seen yet but am recommended to watch (even though, I've seen the TV series for it). I've previously had done Garnet twice within last year, and this marks my third time drawing her for which this crossover took me two tries to sketch out my vision as for the final result came out great before inking in some spots (which I wanted to get the details actually seen) with a little coloring in. Maybe I could improve with the anatomy of hands & arms a little better the next time I draw (practice takes time & makes perfect ) while inking in perhaps. Overall, I am proud with how I've worked things out on this crossover piece in tribute to her love of Final Fantasy & Disney princesses so I hope you do like seeing your favorite girl in the world of Tangled (could imagine how Garnet would have to deal with the long hair & such, haha) and perhaps I can do Zidane portraying as Flynn Rider up next soon (was thinking of that last minute before I began working). Now time for me to prepare on playing the rest of Final Fantasy IX, since I've got a hunch how things will end once our heroes battle Kuja one last time & discover something much bigger like none other.
