I'm sure everyone knows by now... Ike is going to be in Brawl! Fantastic! Though, it was kind of expected. They were probably not going to keep Marth and Roy... but they were definitely going to keep Fire Emblem... (it may not be popular in the West but in Japan... phew >_>"), so it was going to be a lord from a localized FE. I doubt it would've been anyone from FE8, cause well... not many people like that one... Hector is popular but I have a hard time picturing him in Brawl Oo ...must be the axe. Lyn is a bit lacking in importance, and Eliwood... well geez, it'd be a bit odd to take out Roy then stick in his dad who looks like a skinnier version of himself right? So it really had to be Ike...Though maybe they should've put in Mikaya! I mean, they stuck in Roy in SSBM before his game was released and Goddess of Dawn is going to be released soon in english, right? That would be awesome...
Anyway, even though I already knew it was probably impossible, I had still been hoping against all odds that maybe just maybe Celice could've been the FE representative in Brawl. Isn't he a fan-favourite? Dx ...only in Japan T^T
So yea... after hearing the news, I started doodling my feelings about it xD I was thrilled to hear Ike was in there... but still can't help but be disappointed... I would've loved to see Celice in a SSB, but now he'll never get the chance to shine! D:

Well... I suppose if you look at it in a different light, another Japan-only FE character could possibly get in. I just figured since FE's been localized now, they were going to stick with characters that were in those games. Though if you look back at Marth and Roy, Japan-only characters did prove to be quite popular... I guess I won't give up hopes on Celice just yet. Phew.
Mia... really? ...I don't think I'd mind that at all. SSB really needs some more female characters and an FE one would be nice. x3
I've never really thought them that alike, but Roy's still got a good resemblence of Eliwood. And especially when you take into consideration the number of people who've confused the two so far, even going as far as to say that the name was changed in the english version and that they're the same person. Though either way, I don't much fancy his chances. Alright, maybe scrawny wasn't the best word I could've used there. What I meant was he's much more slenderly built than Roy is; thinner and taller. I guess whenever I see his official art, I've always thought he didn't look too sturdy and maybe even a little flimsy.

Actually, Celice still has a good shot at making it. Ike was a given anyway.
In Japan, the most popular Lords are Sigurd and Celice. And with Sigurd and Ike looking somewhat alike, they may choose Celice(Whoever takes them to be the same needs glasses).
If Marth is taken out, I swear another Japan-only FE-character will be in.
The bad part is that the Black Knight, and Mia(Yes, Mia) also have a good shot.
...About Roy and Eliwood... They are not all that alike at all, except hair and eye color. And Eliwood isn't scrawnier than Roy. He's taller, buffer, and wields a greatsword taller than himself.

The sun...XP Oh yeah, something really tells me that Roy won't be coming back though Marth may still have a chance. :/ I had hoped Eirika could appear but in the end, it's Ike. Oh well, don't worry Celice, maybe one day, a remake or something..... :3

Yeah I have mixed feelings about SSBB now.... I'm really excited that Ike is going to be in Brawl-- and his special moves look amazing. XD But yeah, it probably means that Marth won't be in there.... TT-TT I'm both incredibly thrilled and terribly upset at the same time. Dx I didn't know that was possible until now... xDD; Of course, there is a rumor going around that Nintendo's keeping all of the old characters and just adding new ones as well.... It may be a mere rumor with possibly no facts to back it up, but that's the only thing that's keeping me going at this point xD;; Quite pathetic, but it's the truth >.<
