Apologies for the HUGE file! Didn't want to spam your inboxes.
As I mentioned in my journal, ~Pspynett , ~jinxhellbent and I are all working together on our major project this last year of uni. We're essentially doing a whole animation based on David Petersen's Mouse Guard comics, entirely with his permission. o3o You should check the comics out, they are fan-fething-tastic, and we can only hope to do them a modicum of justice. :3 We have a production blog at Mouse Guard Animation , which gets updated with...production stuff. >3>
For anyone who's actually read the comics, you'll be able to tell that we're taking inspiration from the red rain scene in book 1 and the owl fight in book 2. And it wasn't originally intended, but the mouse is now young Gwendolyn. :3
So this is my concept art! Had fun with a very organic, earthy feel that we're going to try and bring into the 3D, too. There's an animatic up on YouTube or on Vimeo , whichever takes your fancy, for if you want to know what I'm blithering on about, but it needs a few changes before I upload it here. x)

Where do you live/come from? xD I mean, the USA is probably the best place to get into the animation industry. Bournemouth has one of the best (if not the best) computer animation courses, though I don't know if that will change or not since they changed the course after our year. France is also good. >3>

I originally come from the UK. England to be exact... but my parents moved over to America so I live in the US now.
I guess they would... but I honestly despise being in this country... the some of the people here are ok... but Americans really are ignorant and really do hate foriegners. Their politics are also rather ridiculous...

Whup, sorry about the reply!fail. D: University took me by the ankles and shook me over my work, so dA took a bit of a back seat for a while. xD America is a big place, I imagine it has more and less open-minded places; still, I see where you're coming from. I don't really want to go to America myself; I'm inclined more towards Canada (and Australia has a good company), but really I'd love to work in Germany, though I'm not sure about the size of its industry.
So you reckon once you're going to uni you'd come back to England? :3
