Description
In continuing my male dragon parade, here is Clavixcor, a very rare species of dragon known as an Umbradis. These dragons are mostly nocturnal, and rarely ever venture out in the daytime. Very little is known about them except that they can mimic the dialect of any creature, and they breathe an extremely volatile fire that is hot enough to pierce through the thickest of hides like a molten dagger. Their uniquely-shaped wings allow them to be extremely maneuverable in flight, and allow for them to turn on a dime to avoid sudden obstacles in their flight path. When they are spotted, they are almost never alone, and are often seen alongside another species of dragon, which they rely on for extra protection. Umbradis dragons are critically endangered due to a high mortality rate in hatchlings, and it is unknown whether or not there are any surviving females of this species.

Clavixcor is a male Umbradis who took to the sky on his own at a very young age, after his mother was accidentally killed by another dragon. Orphaned and vulnerable in the daylight, Clavvie would have made easy prey if it weren't for a chance encounter with a young Nivek, who at the time was developing unorthodox, but effective strategies for hunting due to his color disadvantage. The two became fast comrades, and would take shifts retireving food for each other, with Nivek hunting during the day, and Clavixcor hunting at night. Clavixcor and Nivek first met the main clan while on a routine move from a location where food became scarce, during which time Clavixcor became acquainted with Aterlith. After a bit of a hard start due to Aterlith's stubbornness and discomfort with the idea of finding a mate, they eventually warm up to each other and come to care very much for one another. Clavixcor is incredibly protective of Aterlith, even going so far as to stay out in daylight and put his life on the line to protect her. Aterlith eventually returns this favor by protecting him over the course of several nights after he is critically injured in battle with a dragon turned feral. He is on friendly terms with the other three dragons in the main clan, especially Mollon, who he retrieves eggs for as a form of "permission" to hang out with Aterlith.
