[ History ] Ryou lived a fairly normal life with his two parents and younger brother by one year. As a child, however, his mother yelled at him for coming into the house with dirty shoes. she was PMSing She told him off about the germs and diseases he could have brought into the house and potentially into Kouhei, his little brother, and scarred him for life. From that moment on, Ryou became head housekeeper, making sure that everyone was squeaky clean at all times. When he entered middle school, his parents moved out, as they had grown tired of Ryou's constant cleaning and screeching of disease. They entrusted their eldest son with care over their former apartment and his little brother and moved into the room a few floors up in case anything happened. The two brothers had been living like that since then, with Kou being doted on by his clean-freak of an older brother. It was around that time that Ryou was hit in the face with a basketball while walking his little brother to school. He wore glasses at the time, and the impact permanently carved the glasses' imprints onto the bridge of his nose. He was knocked out and taken to the school infirmary, but before that, he experienced a sudden rush of adrenaline. He joined the basketball club shortly after, but was kicked out after being discovered scrubbing the balls clean (and ridding them of any grip they had). He practised on his own since the incident, polishing his skills on his own. He joined the basketball club in high school, and was promoted to vice-captain of the club once he displayed his uncanny skill.

[ Trivia ] -Despite his OCDness, he owns a pet Great Dane named Mary, whom he adores almost as much as he does his brother.
