First and foremost: my apologies for making Iorveth look like a goth pirate.secondly, I like to imagine that his penchant for Tolkien jokes is the primary reason Saskia decided she prefers dwarves

I think it's the real reason for the feud with Roche... and more than likely how he lost that eye... truly it has brought him nothing but pain and misfortune... his fellow Scoia'tel have held many interventions for his abuse of Tolkien jokes, He'd always tearfully swear this would be the last one, but every time anyone mentioned hobbits he always knew where they were being taken... finally he'd just dissolve into sobs... "to Isengard, goddamn you, to Iseangaaaaaaard!" *hideous sobbing*

I never got past Chapter 18 of The Hobbit, so the joke whooshes right over my head. But I kinda automatically fave anything with Iorveth and Saskia, so there you are.

Lol. It's a Gandalf joke. After he fought the Balrog he became "Gandalf the White" rather than "Gandalf the Gray" in Tolkien-verse the color of a wizard's robe denotes his power.
It's still a pretty lame joke, even among Tolkien nerds... I primarily drew this comic to have an excuse to draw the last panel.
