A gift badge for thornwolf , who was kind enough to split her dealer's table with me at FC this year! These badges are watercolor with a little gouache, and black India ink for the background. I am loving how the black ink makes the colored parts stand out. I leave a white border around the edges of the badge by masking it off with artist's tape, and then when it's all done they live in their own protective plastic sleeves.I'm taking these badges as commissions at the con itself, but also as pre-orders. Ahhh, I love your shading you did with the watercolor. It can be a tricky medium sometimes but it's so fun to layer things up.
