A little over a year ago, I became an aunt! My little niece was born last November to my older sister, and she has brought incredible joy to our family.My sister has always adored cats, she has three rescued ones currently (plus a dog and a lovebird). She has always said that if she were a cat, she'd be a flame point Siamese (her husband a blue point Siamese). So I thought maybe April would be a flame point too, but I imagine her a little more blonde than red. I planned on making this for my sister last year, but the holiday season got way to stressful and crazy. So this is for my sister; her and her little one depicted as cats taking a peaceful sun nap together!

Oh my goodness, I'm in love! This is so precious! These are my favorite of all (house) cats.
I had a flame point with ice blue eyes when I was growing up. He was my soul mate if there were such a thing in a cat. His mother was a blue point. Siamese are the most incredible cats IMO. I'm totally with your sister though; if we were cats, I think my daughter and I would be flame points. We have that kind of personality. And my DH would totally be a blue point. SO him!

I really enjoy your fur texture. It's so much fun to look at and I really like the fleece texture, as well. Great job on the lighting, as well!
That's great that your sister has rescued cats. I'm getting my degree as a veterinary technician and I have been active in foster/rescue and trap-and-release of multiple cat colonies for over a decade. I'm also going to specialize in domestic cat behavior and medicine. I adore cats, but what I adore more is hearing about others rescuing them and giving them the good homes they deserve!
