I love the episode where Ash gets his Charmander.Needle felted with a paper-clip for the leaf stem. The leaf is detachable.

Aw, it's adorable! Were paper clips hard to work with? In my experience I find them very hard to bend. Maybe you should invest in some galvanized steel wire, super cheap, over 100 feet for about 4 dollars at a hardware store. I use galvanized steel wire for my armatures, and even double stranded it's super flexible. I am looking for something really sturdy and not bendable to support horns and I hadn't thought of paper clips. Thank you for inadvertently giving me that idea!

I'm glad I gave you an idea. They are quite hard to work with but I was determined and didn't want to have to wait till pay day to buy wire, So I just searched around my desk until I found something that had potential xD
If you have pliers I'm sure they will be a bit more easy to bend

Yeah, I have to use needle nose pliers to work with pretty much any wire, but I'm definitely going to have to give the paper clips a try. Thanks for the llama badge btw!
