Description
Every once in a while some line-art drops into my inbox which I just HAVE to colour; [link] <--- this drawing by the amazingly talented ~robinmitchell was one such piece. It had such an amazing feeling of character, and of course I'm a huge Jamie Hewlett fan so I just had to ask for the line-art, and ~robinmitchell very kindly agreed
I enjoyed working on this, I hope you guys like it.

I almost missed this in my inbox cause it seems very un-Kat-like. I really like the guys linework and the way he shapes things like the boots. Your colour choice is great too.

Yep, she's drawn in the style of Hewlett, and he made the gorillaz, and when I coloured her I gave her purple hair (mostly) because I was thinking of Noodle

thanks a lot!! it was a tough call to choose the values for this one, and she ended up with some girlier colours than what she started out with, but I think they work ok! ^-^

believe it or not they're actually pencils which I doubled up... Robin's pencils are so clean they ended up lookin' like inks! the man has badass skills, ne?

it is very tank girl, the line quality isn't as good as Hewlett's but it's still got loads of provocative, charming attitude and the colouring really completes it. overall, lush!
