Hehehe... that kitty fish is so cute. Wonderful work, anyways, otherwise, too. I like the pose on the mermaid, and the interaction it brings to her and the kittyfish, and the colours and colouring really are wonderful again. Lovely lovely work, the brown for hair and the reds really look nice together. Her tail part is wonderful, too, and I like the patterns on it. Very nice concept, makes me smile. Good work, a

just curious. What kind of watercolor paper are you using? And do you do stuff that's a lil bigger in size? I love these pics. Where does ur inspiration come from?

I'm currently using 130lb Fabriano Medioevalis watercolor cards, they come in 2.5" x 3.75" size and I cut them down to 3.5". I do work bigger sometimes, but am very comfortable with this particular size at the moment.
My inspiration comes from dreams & life. Everything I see or hear gets twisted into something else, and I paint it

A "REAL" catfish, much cuter than the "pseudo" catfish. Again, I like the lingerie look of the fins.

The little cat is a cute touch! I love the way you draw mermaids as seductresses of the sea... like in the old faery tales. She has a wicked expression and her curly hair looks great! The colours complete it for me, the way they complement each other so well.
