Most of the time, Taher is apathetic to anything that doesn't concern him or his brother. The minute he has to interact with anyone that isn't Constantine however, all of his negative traits seem to flare up at once. His volatility is mostly apparent in conversations where he may misunderstand something or not understand at all and become very frustrated with both himself and the person he's speaking with. This can cause him to react instinctively to defend himself with the only way he knows how. His spikes - or rather, his hair - are a good measure of his emotions and can explain what he's feeling clearer than what he may think or say. He bristles (physically and figuratively) when his mood is shifting quickly to anger in which his hair spikes up. When he's happy, his hair is wavy like Constantine's, embarrassed is curly, drooping is sad and apathetic is flat. He overreacts frequently and seemingly for no reason whatsoever. He is very assertive and loud when it comes to whatever he may be thinking because he has no reason to really filter anything out. And most of the time, he'll be so angry that he isn't quite thinking about what he's getting upset about, just that he's upset and needs to lash out any way he can.
(Basically, he's one of those people who get offended by anything and everything that they see).

When he is calm with the very few people he can stand to be around, he is actually very (reluctantly) caring, but in a more forceful mother hen manner. He's become so used to caring for Constantine that it's become second nature for him to take care of things that look helpless and may walk into a wall at any given time he's not watching. Having to take care of both himself and his brother at a rather young age, he learned how to take care of the house and do all the chores. It's become therapeutic for him in a sense and also helps him move around in not frantic, too quick movements like assassinations demand of him. It's more ignorance than innocence, but there are certain topics that he just doesn't understand or feel the actual need to research more into. It hasn't harmed him in the past since he leads a relatively simple life of: taking care of Constantine, protecting Constantine no matter the cost and for whatever the reason, taking care of the store. As long as his brother stays safe, he is content.

He and his brother were always close but recent events brought them even closer together. It's a strange kind of cycle of Taher being overly protective and possessive because he's terrified he'll lose the one thing that has remained a permanent fixture in his life. Constantine is the one person that Taher physically cannot be stressed around thanks to a habit that has continued as a coping mechanism since they were young. He also thinks (knows) that it's because he wouldn't be able to stand it if he accidentally hurt his brother with his spikes. Because of this, he makes sure to keep his angry emotions to a very low minimum at all times whenever they're together. Taher has this deluded thinking that Constantine needs constant protection and not just because he's clumsy and blind to boot. Yet the elder is definitely just as, if not more, ruthless out on the field if it comes down to it. It helps Taher feel better though, so he lets him take care of him obsessively.
In terms of fighting, Taher is very clear headed and quick thinking and has to be to survive the fast pace he pushes himself to move at. Thanks to the joint exercises he had to do as a child for his hemophilia, he is quite flexible and nimble to complete his job quickly and efficiently while protecting his joints as much as he can. He's gotten quite good at making instantaneous decisions on continuing the job (by covering the wound periodically with ice), and avoiding contact as much as he can. If anything, he tries to avoid using his powers unless in very dire situation. He knows enough close combat to stun his target and take them out using knives hidden in his coat.

Despite this, he instantly attached himself to the older brother who was more of a parental figure than their parents ever were. It took the slightest incident to realize that Taher had hemophilia and that they now had to find a way to produce the money required for the expensive medicine.
Unbeknownst to the younger brother however, his parents had run out of means to keep the family (read: themselves) comfortable and the responsibility of getting money fell to Constantine. He didn’t find out what that really meant until much later when his parents confronted the eldest about his drug smuggling and told him flat out that he could either stop his sinful actions or be disowned. The decision was simple and with little persuasion, Taher followed suite. He was still relatively young and in high school but it wasn’t hard to figure out how to take care of the two of them whether it be chores or cooking. The virus seemingly came out of nowhere, but Taher couldn’t quite figure out his power. Being able to cool things down was helpful sometimes in the kitchen but apart from that, he just had to deal with the scorn that came with his brightly coloured hair and eyes. Regardless, they lived in relative normality for a few years until Constantine’s job finally caught up to him one summer evening. It was quick with Taher reacting on protective instinct to his sleeping brother and finally learning about his main power by stabbing the thugs through various sensitive parts of their bodies. Needless to say, it definitely explained how far Taher would go to protect Constantine and without any guilt attached to the deaths.
It was an easy decision to leave the life they had built up by themselves and left later on that night. There were only some things they had to wrap up before they were on their way to Chromatica. Some of Constantine’s networks had quietly directed them to a place where they may be more accepted for their Chromatism and still be able to resume their life as it was.
Taher let Constantine work out the details and by the time they got there, they were able to settle into their own rug and lamp store where they smuggle out drugs on the insides lampshades.
Taher lets his brother do whatever he wants and takes care of the cashier along with being the ‘on-call bodyguard’.
While Constantine had been drawn into the BP faction, he let himself reluctantly be taken into the RO faction with the resolve that if it came down to it, he would gladly hurt his fellow members or even himself instead of hurt his brother.

Powers:
MAIN Power: Taher is able to grow spikes from any part of his body. However, these spikes can only extend to a maximum of a 2 meter radius and causes him excruciating pain to stretch any further. The spikes grow from his bones and pierce open his skin. The spikes themselves are quite durable and much sharper than it is dense which means that if hit, the spikes will probably break and Taher will feel the pain akin to any bone in his body breaking. However the main concern of this power is that because of his hemophilia the chances of him bleeding out if he doesn’t monitor his slightest of wounds during a job is higher and more concerning.
This is why his SUB power developed as ice elemental so he may grow small patches of ice over his skin to stop/hinder the blood flow until he can get to proper medical attention. He’s unable to use this power for anything that doesn’t include his person except for maybe blow a breath of cold air in someone’s face. He crystallizes the water in the air directly above any of his wounds and presses it down onto his skin, creating a thin sort of ice bandage to stop the blood flow too much.

Other information:
+ He was born with hemophilia but has expensive clotting medicine that may or may not have been paid for
+ He walks around everywhere barefoot so it'll be easier for quick attacks
+ His hair doesn't change much apart from apathetic/anger
+ He has really high pain tolerance to the point of just barely feeling anything but significant wounds
+ He has no qualms with killing his own RO members in order to protect Constantine

Relationships:
Constantine : His dearest brother whom he would not have anything else to live for. His presence calms him always and his whole life basically revolves around making sure Constantine is comfortable and safe.

Jay : Not quite the best introduction into the RO ‘family’, but he can’t understand why he’s so persistent and won’t leave him alone when all Taher wants is some quiet. That isn’t filled with strange accents and pet names that don’t make sense.

Ruben: A strange sort of not quite there friendship, but Taher finds it hard to snap at the older man and instead feels the same beginnings of the protectiveness he feels for his brother. It’s probably the kicked puppy look and floppy hair.
