Rufus overlooks Sector 7 from the top of the Shin-Ra building.I painted this yesterday. It's my first original (but still fanart, of course...) watercolor piece. I learned a lot from my first two watercolor studies.
1) use a small enough brush
2) wait for things to dry when necessary
3) wet paper towels are your best friends.
Midgar was so much fun to paint.
All in all, I'm extremely happy with how it turned out, though I'm not entirely sure what the mood was supposed to be. Let me know what you think.
Watercolors on some kind of water color paper. Roughly 8"x10"

This is absolutely amazing, especially how you did Sector 7 - the smoke hiding the moon that's barely visible.
The billowing folds of Rufus' clothes are also incredibly well done.
This whole piece is just brilliant, and I'm glad you're happy with it! 
Be proud, it's a very different piece to what I've seen and it's great!

Hm..I guess it would be hard to picture what Rufus is thinking when you can't see his expression..so it could be anything!

Yeah, I was definitely trying for a strong wind, since he's up on the 70th floor of the Shin-Ra building... I'm glad it worked.
