OMG this took me all morning.And old drawing, shitty inking, and questionable style.. but I felt like coloring it anyway. I'm aware that one arm looks shorter, but let's just say from the 3/4 type of pose she's doing the arm is kind of going back. Yeah, let's say that.
Just to loosen my coloring up a bit. Haven't sat down with photoshop for a while. I was trying some new stuff. Various brushwork and some paths. Probably about 1.5 hours total.

DON'T FLAME I just don't really give a rats ass if you don't like her. Take it to the "kill Sally" clubs they'll love it there, mmmkay?

I don't know, the foreshortening looks fine to me. It's funny, as much as illustrators and animators heavily use the 3/4 view, it's full of odd little subtleties that are hard to master. Anyway, she's squeezably soft. *steals her eyes*

it really is, and maybe since it was a view I used HEAVILY early on when I started drawing I just have more of a nack for it than a straight on or side view... more out of repition than anything else.

Anyone can write. It's just a matter of learning how to arrange the words correctly.
There's so much more to drawing though. It's capturing the right angle, color, shape, line...a snap-shot in hypothetical time and doing it right is an amiable skill. People are more attracted to art because there's less to it at a glance. There aren't one thousand words shouting out at you. You have to find them. Writing does all the work for you.
