haha yeah, that is true. And I agree it's an excellent piece, just that that's the typical thing that happens with female characters. Same goes with the male ones, they're all super buff Arnold Schwarzenegger style. It's just sort of annoying is all that they turn out like that lol.

Actually she happens to be in couple with a skinny, non-muscular priest, so better beware before generalizing.

I agree. And if she's Norse...damn, she must have ice in her blood. I hate seeing this happen to female characters though. Ah well, it's a commission... *sigh*

Yeah, commissioned by a woman. Why should we always hide the female body and be afraid of its beauty ? Sorry, but my point of view differs than yours here.

I don't mind showing off the female body, quite the opposite. I am just practical, because I do sword fight, and practice archery, and participate in the SCA as a Viking woman. If she were Norse, she'd have way more clothes, would not be using two ninja-to, and would have a round shield, short bow, and quiver. Also she'd have a heavy cloak and chain mail.

Wow, there's no need to get so defensive. I understand it is a commission piece, I just personally prefer more accurate portrayals, that is all. It was not meant as a judgement of your OC or your personal tastes in any way, and to go off on me, essentially say that I am self-centered, and insinuate that I confuse reality and fantasy is entirely uncalled for. I happen to be an avid role-player, but even when I role play fantasy I still like it to be functional and practical because I find it lends an air of realism that allows me, personally, to lose myself in it more than when it is so obviously impractical and unreal. That's why I prefer video games like HALO, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age to games like Final Fantasy. I'm not saying it isn't a good game, just that the others are more realistic and therefore, more fun for me because I am not being distracted by gross inconsistencies. Those are my personal tastes, and I have stated them as such. I never said you were wrong, or that your OC was incorrect. I just said that from a historical and realistic standpoint it was lacking. Please leave me alone for having an opinion that doesn't match yours.

"Please leave me alone for having an opinion that doesn't match yours. " Well, you didn't leave my tastes alone by commenting about hating it and stuff. That's what happen about sharing opinons on internet, everyone has the same right to do so.
(Also, I don't like Final Fantasy that much, and it's not Corean but Japanese and doesn't have that much fanservice in it. )

Blocking you, nothing personnal, but I hate the " I have the right to have an opinion but you don't have the right to defend yours" kind of debate.

I never said I hated it, do not mis-quote me. I understand and accept that everyone has an opinion which may or may not be different than mine. I, however, have better things to do than troll a comment string all day starting fights with random people because they happen to have a differing opinion.

( Also, I'm not criticizing your tastes at all. I know how historical reality can be fascinating, but it's just...not my thing. I do believe that are enough different things ( like High-Fantasy or History...) for anyone to find something that passionate them. It's just that I think it's important to stand for what you love if you feel it's unfairly accused of something that isn't even seeked in it in the first place ( here, historical accuracy. ))

( On a side note, confusing reality and fantasy as you do is like telling Walt Disney that real mouses don't look like Mickey Mouse...)

er...I'm not creating something historical you know. My influences are Frazetta, Shunya Yamashita, Luis Royo...there is other things that exist that YOU and YOUR center of interest...and I paid this commission for me, not for you, as far as I know. The armor is influenced by corean fantasy games ON PURPOSE. And she's not even norse from our world...
So thanks for sharing your intense knowledge, but it's definitely not needed here.
