Description As a pilgrim wandering in twisted and unsafe roads of the life,
a soul falls into the mire of putrid quicksands hitherto unknown,
becoming debris in a large swamp , where everything seems immutable.
No desire to go away, there is no way out, there is no escape.

No god can change the past.
Then, where is the wave that can move the debris of a soul
from beneath the suffocating, putrid, clods
of an alchemy that warms, bakes and roasts
in the "solve et coagula"(*) in a gold, what is not gold?

The souls are often covered by deep scars,
so deep that there isn't beauty cream to hide them.

---
(*) In alchemy, the formula "solve et coagula" was used in the process of transmutation of metals into gold.

Etonnant et très intéressant !  Les débris ne sont ils pas la résurgence de notre existence ?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Karolusdiversion In reply to buggs38 [2013-09-26 20:12:29 +0000 UTC]

I just get used to the debris and live with it. It becomes an old friend. I may move it away from the front of my mind, but it's always there, reassuring me with dust.

Thank you for the clever comment.

I am almost too clever. Strike out "almost".

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Karolusdiversion In reply to LancelotPrice [2013-09-27 08:47:41 +0000 UTC]

(Strike out "almost" and replace with "surely")

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LancelotPrice In reply to Karolusdiversion [2013-09-27 14:52:38 +0000 UTC]

I'm a minimalist; just striking out "almost" already made it "surely" and even "certainly".

Perhaps not, but somehow I get the feeling that you would have said "Fiat Lux Maximus!" I prefer the Fiat 500, myself, and not the Luxus nor the Abarth.

About the Fiat 500... This Fiat 500 First Edition was sold at auction for $ 385,000. I bet you are the buyer...

LancelotPrice In reply to Karolusdiversion [2013-09-28 15:10:19 +0000 UTC]

The original 600 and 500 were designed [engineered] by Dante Giacosa, a brilliant man. I would say that the 600 is one of my all time favourite cars. I still remember very vividly the first time I ever saw one at my first high school when we moved to Florida. It was white, with a red interior, and full of students as it drove up to the parking lot of the school auditorium, as I waited at the top of the large porch at its entry for the school bus to arrive and take me home. I was in 10th grade at the time, and still too young to get a drivers' license, which I got the next year. The first car I owned turned out to be a two year old Porsche 356B Cabriolet. Porsche was radically cheaper in those four-cylinder days. I've never see the kind of money that could buy a 350 thousand dollar Fiat 500. Why was it so outrageously priced?

Ehhe... 350 thousand dollar. But it seems it was a charity auction.
