So i tried doing the original design...Then i realized that it's fucking impossible.
So i came up with something new. D:
That, and i love yellow and black. The end.

i dont usually like yellow, but you handle it well. the poses and costumes are excellent, but the forward facing characters face looks a little long, and the eyes a little too big and slanted.
other than that i love it.

This really is a nice piece! The poses are interesting, and the yellow designs just pull it all together! You know, your designs reminds me of the Aboriginals tribal tattoos. XD Yours are very different from theirs, but yeah.

It's cool how you added a yellow and black gradient to the bottom of the hair and dress. It makes it seem like a light could be behind those parts and the light would lightly shine through them (like when you hold a flashlight to your fingertips). You could even add like a light halo of light around the whole figures for some back-lighting or something. XD *getting a lot of ideas* *cough*
Technically, you could experiment by filling an entire layer with a yellow color (to match), then try changing the layer properties/blending modes and opacity with this. It might make the colors seem more cohesive/monochrome. (I dunno, just saying this cause I noticed you asked for critique.)
The sketchy part on the feet make me think of "black lightning." Overall, this is awesome.
